L1 certifications allows us to fly higher power rockets as well as fine tune our skills in building rockets and improve our technical knowledge. We use manufactured kits from LOC precision to reduce error and ensure safety. We launch the completed kits at the end of the semester with most of the team gaining their L1 certification through Tripoli Rocketry with the support of Upstate Research Rocketry Group (URRG).

Over the short period of time that Clarkson University Rocketry has existed, many members have already achieved their Tripoli Level 2 High Powered Rocketry Certification! (And many more are on their way…) Thank you so much to URRG for being a fantastic launch site!
